I understand that we still have a long way to go until quantum computers will render Bitcoin’s encryption obsolete. But since we know that it’ll happen one day, what’s being done to protect Bitcoin long-term? It seems foolish to let quantum computing creep up in power without working on a solution so I assume someone is doing something. So my question is, who’s doing what to address this issue?
